Just confirming that I am, indeed, alive in some way, shape, or form. I feel like it's always some excuse or another with me: over the summer, it was a challenging class schedule and overtime at work; early fall, it was a time consuming course load, overtime at work, AND a second job I picked up to help pay my bills; now it's that same time consuming course load, the retail holiday rush at job no. 2, NaNoWriMo, and a string of unfortunate events that has kept me from picking up a pencil, a brush, or any other tool of artistry since I simply can't find anything.
As sort of a blessing in disguise, my family is about to converge upon my house like vultures to feast upon the carcass of some unnaturally large bird, which means I finally need to organize my shit and put everything where it belongs. So, I've found some of my long-lost tools and hope to get back to work shortly, putting priority on the pieces that I owe people before really getting back into the swing of things when the semester breaks for winter.
